Lost my son's love - A Kelly Story
We were reading a Valentine's Day book where the baby is making a secret valentine. At the end of the book you find out the Valentine is actually for mommy. I figured he had making mommy a valentine in his head, so I would take advantage of that thought:
me: Would you like to make a Valentine?
DS: yes
me: Who would you like to make a Valentine for?
DS: (with a huge smile) GRACIE!!!!!!
(That would be SweetCin's DD)
me: Why do you want to make Gracie a Valentine?
DS: Because she is a butterfly that flies high in the sky, wearing black pants.
 
DH said it was so poetic until the black pants.

We figured she loved seeing his picture, that it had to be added to the valentine. Did you notice it was cut from an extra Christmas card we had?  He was so desperate to get her the Valentine that we had to make it right then and there.
