Did anyone notice in the previews it looks like they show a shot of Penny in labor/giving birth? There has never been a shot of her as a pregnant woman. Wondering when it happened (past/present/future)?

or penny could be the little girl Ben played with.
It was a great premiere. I fell so bad for the people left- what a horrible way to live. I don't understand why they are the only ones who move? I thought the whole island moved? why are the others a constant, is it because they are special? and if that's the case, than why wouldn't John stay constant.
Still trying to figure out how John dying is going to save the island- I guess it means he's not really dead, but dead in a certain time.
I don't know how Farady is going to figure this out- it's such a mess. I didn't realize Mrs. Higgins was his mom- good catch! I gotta get on sledgeweb's lost stuff to get all the details.

Locke is like Christian Sheppard, I think. Once Locke is back on the island, he will be resurrected.
The compass - is that the same one that Richard showed Locke as a child?
Dr. Chang/Marvin Candle/Edgar Halliwax- the baby - is that Miles?
Charlotte the Red Head needs a constant hence the nosebleed but I can't figure out Desmond's roles and if the Oceanic Six are the constants for the island.
Farraday's book - his presence in the Dharma initiative - is his book the one that Widmore bids on at the auction in who knows which season it was?
Who were the Aussies who almost cut off Juliet's hand?

Good episode - I hope the producers were telling the truth when they said this season will start providing answers, because I have so many questions!!! And I also hope the time travel stuff doesn't get too confusing for the average person like me who can't keep track of it all.

I agree. Richard (or was it Ben??) said to him that basically if he wanted to get the 6 back, he'd have to die. I think the plan was that Locke's death would get them back there and then once they all return Locke would come back to life.

How could it be the same book? Farraday has it unless they're in the past before it was bid on? I didn't notice if he had it before the time started changing... If he had it before then I don't think it's the same book.

that is what I thought as well but now I'm thinking... could grey haired lady be Dan's mother? I mean Dan tells Desmond is supposed to go to Oxford to find his mother before Desmond woke up from his "dream"... could they be one and the same?

Ok, so if the crazy equation lady is Mrs. Hawking, who's the woman from the butcher shop who's watching Locke's body?
Oh and how do we think Hugo is gonna get boosted from jail?
Oh and for that matter who were the guys following Hugo that Sayid was protecting him from?
Oh and what did we think of Anna Lucia coming to Hurley??
And what does Christian Sheppard have to do with the island? Why was her there at the time of the crash yet his body was not in the coffin?
Ugh, so many questions!!!!

I think Farrady's book is different than the one Widmore bid on. The Widmore book was much larger.
Farraday said something about keeping a journal in 1996 and wrote in that Demond was his constant. This was in "the Constant last season"

And the Widmore book was the log kept by the Black Rock's ship captain. Faraday is a physician, not a captain... at least, so far. You never can tell with this show.
