I was there about a month ago for a birthday party. I loved the place. It was very nice inside, excellent service and the food was delicious. My family is still talking about it.

Yes, was totally unimpressed with the food they served and I usually LOVE the place. The catered food was missing something...too blah and boring IMO.

Really? tell me more...I was thinking of having a party there. Was it sit down or buffet style>?
I have been there to eat, love the place. But never been there for a party.

I have eaten there but not been there for a party.
What room was your party in? Was it buffet or sit down? Any info would be great, I was thinking of having a party there.

We were in the room all the way on the right side. It was buffet style, the party was around 1pm. There were doors in the room that led outside to the deck area which was nice. The buffet was set up along the wall/window that faces the main road. The food was good. they had a soup (cant remember what kind), a salad with a delicious balsamic dressing, roasted red potatoes, carrots, broccoli, a sirloin steak which was delicious (DH & my favorite), a stuffed fish dish and a chicken teriyaki or marsala dish. My family brought their own cake but Louie's had fresh fruit for each table during dessert and fresh bread during the whole meal.
I thought the service was great and thought it was a very nice restaurant. DH and I would definitely go back there for dinner.

It was a sit down dinner with a few buffet style apps in the upstairs room. I think they were trying to do it cheap...not the place to cheap out IMO. The food was just not tasty...and very low quality too...nothing like their usual menu I've had at dinner there. I was really surprised and disappointed by it. Again, may have had more to do with their food choices.

Thanks so much! Baseball widow, may have been what the party goers chose.
I will be looking into it, thanks again!

I have never been to a party there, but I have eaten there a few times. I really think it is over-rated. The view is great and I love sitting outside, but the food is not as good as at Riverbay!
