low beta again-update :(
Hi ladies,
I wish i had a better update again but I don't. I can't believe this. 
So the doctor's office called and told me that i am pregnant but it was a low positive.
Beta- 18.1
Estrogen- 126
Progesterone- 9.79
The chemical pregnancy over the summer was an even lower beta, it was only a 9, so of course I will take the 18.1 and the fact that i am pregnant, but it seems to me that this isn't promising.
Please if anyone knows if these numbers are good/bad any feedback.
If you had a low beta like mine, and then it rised? Please any help would be greatly appreciated because i'm trying to stay calm but im so upset right now.
Could it be that it implanted later and that since it was a 4 cell embroyo that it's just taking longer? I'm so upset and confused ladies. I go back Friday for a second beta and they want to see the numbers go up.
****I'm in shock. It's negative. I really thought it was going to work out because I had symptoms for the last two days. I'm so distraught. I don't understand why.

I'm sorry  , it's definitely possible that it's just taking a little longer for the embryo to catch up just in the beginning. Prayers for a big increase on Friday!!   . Hang in there, I know how tough this is!!!

I'm so sorry! You guys are in my prayers!!!! I would just keep on your meds and staying positive and see what your numbers are Friday. That's when you will have a better understanding- to see something double or triple. It could be late implantation, could be just trying to catch up but don't loose hope, try and stay positive!!!! Hang in there!

Don't worry about the first number, see how it doubles. Most offices like to see 20 and over and you are close! Still take your meds and praying for you that the next update will be better! Stick baby stick!

a beta can raise slow, give it some more time before you count yourself out.

the starting # doesnt concern me so much, but what really matters is that it goes up by friday.

My 9 beta is a happy and healthy 8 month old boy who's sleeping on me as I type this. It has to start somewhere the next few numbers are what's really going to tell you more. Best of luck I know how hard it can be.

Ugggh so frustrating I hate betas. My first one was ok but didn't double at all then finally did, now 24 weeks pregnant I just find them unreliable and they stress us out so much. Praying for great #s for you on Friday!

Exactly you never know. And I don't want to be upset especially if this is going to be a viable pregnancy. Not good to stress out.

My beta started at 24 and it didn't double, then after 2 weeks it started doubling. I am now 27 weeks pregnant. i will find my old post with my numbers. Hang in there all this beta is crap IMO!
