Low beta- Update To the Update
Update: 9 months later & I just had a beautiful DD! Just wanted to share as I know I was looking for success stories after my initial beta! Wishing you all love & luck on your journeys!!
Hi girls we just did an FET & at 9dp5dt beta is only a 35. Googling I've found some random success stories to give me a little hope but now I've been experiencing some brown discharge so I'm not feeling very optimistic. Anybody experience anything like this personally?
Update: Beta #2 was an 84. So we are cautiously optimistic and pray for good news in the coming weeks. Thanks for all your positivity it was very much appreciated these past couple of days.

Low beta
I think it really depends on your next beta to see if it is doubling in the right amount of time. I did an iui that started with low but doubling betas:
12dpo 9
13dpo 13
15dpo 38
19dpiui 242
and then my last beta 5 days later was over 3000
I am now 9+ weeks pregnant so as long as it's doubling it can be ok.

my sisters was lower than that. Her dr told her it could go either way. Her DS is 3.5.

I had two experiences with low betas that did not work out.
I went from 20 to 50 and all the way up to 300ush before it started to go down.
Second bfp was 47, then 40.
I wish you the best of luck, beta hell is not fun.

Embryos from FET can implant a day or two off so you may be okay! Just see how the numbers double. Good luck!!!

For FET that beta is not really that low. The most important number will be your next beta. As long as it doubles you should be good

I had 2 chemicals with BETAs under 10. My fourth transfer that stuck my BETA was in the 50s but that was 10dp5dt and a fresh cycle. So I was a day after you because 9dp was a Sunday. I was nervous but it doubled and doubled or almost doubled each time after. I just looked at betabase.com and that BETA looks okay. Check it out. http://www.betabase.info/chart/betaByDay/14/Single

I didn't have a FET, but my beta at 14dpo was 46, at 17dpo it went to 178, I got a blood draw this morning so will have that one this afternoon.

That's a nice jump. I ran your numbers through beta base and that is a doubling time of 38 hours which is good.

Thanks all! JJ2014 when you do IVF or FET you are putting an embryo that has developed in my case for 5 days so if you want to equate that to dpo you would add the 5 days plus the 9 days after transfer so it's as if I went in at "14 dpo"
