Low Blood Pressure
My mother took my gram to the Dr. today and we found out her blood pressure is Low...
She was on BP meds and he took her off of them.
Will this help raise her pressure a bit.
We are all concerned.
She goes back on Monday to be rechecked....She's 91...
My mother actually hid the pills when they got home today so gram wouldn't take them tonight out of habit...
Anyone ever go through this or know someone that has?
I never really heard of trying to get pressure back up, but, that's what we are hoping for.

I never really heard of trying to get pressure back up, but, that's what we are hoping for.
I'm usually borderline low and it dipped very low when I was pregnant. They wanted me to eat more salty foods but that was harder to do than I thought. I took salt pills. Some pharmacists have them behind the counter. I had some trouble finding them but FM me if you want to know where. However, don't increase the salt intake unless the doctor knows about it. They tested me to make sure the salt pills did not cause some sort of electrolyte imbalance. With your grandmother, going off the meds may be enough.
