Low blood sugar??
I'm not sure if this would be from low blood sugar or maybe something else??? The last week or so, about every other day around 12pm I get this weird tingly feeling come over me. I start shaking and I get really hot, like sweating. It lasts until I eat something. However, usually by that point I've already had 2-3 things to eat. Like normal size portions, a muffin, cereal, pretzels, sandwich etc. So I'm certainly not starving myself. Why would this happen? As soon as I feel myself getting that way I eat something and like 20 mins later, I feel better.
This morning I had cereal at home, then a muffin at work then at about 1130am, I had some pretzels. 12:15 rolled around and I thought I was going to pass out at my desk. So I ate some cookies and felt better around 12:40pm.
I'm 19 weeks and have my level 2 on thurs. I'm going to definitely bring this up to my OB.

Re: Low blood sugar??
sounds like me... but I don't get symptoms that bad. I get really dizzy and feel faint. My mom says just to eat something, I do and always feel better after.
Discussed this with my OB, she didn't seem concerned, she just said mom's advice is okay.
My blood sugar is on the low side normally, so I just figured stresses of pregnancy making it worse.

Re: Low blood sugar??
that happened to me this morning and it was the 3rd time in 2 weeks. I get all hot and lightheaded and feel a bit nauseaus...as soon as I sit and drink some water or eat something I feel better. I think it is fairly common.

Re: Low blood sugar??
Try to eat high protein snacks. I suffer from low blood sugar and rely on snacks like peanut butter and crackers or mixed nuts. Even a glass of milk. If it happens a lot, I would contact your dr.
