Low budget holiday gift ideas
DH and I are on a very limited budget this year.
We have to buy for both sets of parents, my sister, his sisters, a couple of SO's, one grandparent, and some extended aunts/uncles/cousins.
I am not really crafty or a baker.
Any ideas?
In the past I've just done $10.00 gift cards to DD or Starbucks for the extendeds.

Re: Low budget holiday gift ideas
This year I am doing calendars for all the adults, one per couple. So about $10/couple.
Last year I found discounted cookbooks.
The year before that I did large candles.
Photo albums, ornaments.
DH and I were talking about how our favorite gift from last year was a big comfy Christmas blanket that his grandparents got us! It was probably $10 somewhere.
Kitchen towels, bath towels - anything seasonal.
picture frames.

Re: Low budget holiday gift ideas
If you know of any people that love candles, I think a yankee candle is a great idea. They usually have good printable coupons OR you can go to an outlet store...a $25 candle could cost $12.50 if you get the buy one get one....and i love that they put it in tissue paper and place in one of their bags. Just add a ribbon and you're done.
A pretty ornament or two is always nice to receive...
-Slippers for women, bath and body works stuff, $10 giftcard to starbucks or dunkin along with a mug or travel mug (you can get them cheap in homegoods, places like that..)
-Photo gifts for parents/grandparents. Snapfish/winkflash type places always have great deals this time of year on photobooks.
-My SIL bought her parents photo coasters last year from BBB. I think she paid $10 and then she put pics of all the grandkids in them. They LOVED them and use them everyday.
Hope this helps a bit! Good luck!

This may seem a little cheesy......but you can get a restaurant.com gc. The ricipient gets to choose any place of their liking on the list and there are a ton of places to choose from. I got $50 gc for $5. It's a great stocking stuffer

Marshalls has a lot of great deals.

Re: Low budget holiday gift ideas
I actually went to the dollar store and they had scented (apple) short pillar candles. I got some pretty ribbon (also at the $1 store), wrapped it around each candle and then wrapped the candle in tissue paper with more ribbon (all fromt he $1 store).
Also you can get a nice Christmas ornament and personalize it with names, etc.
Family photos in a nice frame, which you can get very discounted this time of year -Kohls, Michaels, Walmart.
I also see in your avatar you have a DC- at Michaels or any of the craft stores you can get one of those sets that is super simple to put DC hand print in and just bake it in the oven. It comes with markers or something to color it and decorate it. Also, they have a stepping stone kit - same idea - have your DC's name on it and it comes with little stones, etc. to decorate. I think they are usually around $10 and you can use a 20% coupon.
