low grade fever for days?????
DD will be 7 months in a week. She cut her bottom 2 teeth last week. I know they are killing her but she has also had a low grade fever for days (about 4) usually in the 99 range but I just took it now (rectally) and it said 100.7
Could this all be from teething or should I worry maybe she's sick? I know her ped office is probably now closed till tuesday but I just worry maybe an ear infection or something that needs meds
So teething or no? TIA

Could definitely be teething. If she is acting ok and not showing any other signs that something else is up, that's what it could be. If you are really worried though, I'd call the on-call ped (at a reasonable hour, like 11AM) just to be sure.

before I even clicked on to see what you had written on your post, I thought "teething" just by your subject line. So yes, could definitely be from teething, but you can also call your ped if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Going through this now with my 11 month old D, except her fevers were a bit higher. Turns out its a double ear infection. She had no other symptoms other than crankyness and coughing at night.

Re: low grade fever for days?????
Every time DS teethes, he has a low grade fever for days..After the 3rd trip to the pedi, I figured it out. He just cut 5 teeth in 4 weeks and has been running a low grade fever for half that time..
