Low grade fever just at night---any ideas?
So DD has never had a fever before so this is all new to me. She is a little over 2.
She has been acting fine- as in playing normal, dancing, running- her normal CRAZY HYPER self! But IMO I felt like she looked like she is brewing something since Saturday.
She woke during the night friday and NEVER DOES.
Then Sunday at around 5 she felt warm and her temp was 99.5 and by bedtime 100.4. She STTN no problem, and woke no fever.
Same thing then happened yesterday, fine all day until 5pm. She felt warm and had 100.00 temp.
Any ideas? She sounds a little nasally but it comes and goes.

are her 2 yr molars coming in? Because it really sounds like teething to me We recently went through the same thing with DS when his 1 yr molars were coming in.

She is a pretty good teether. She cut 3 of the 4 of her 2 year molars over night without me even knowing lol but she still has 1 left to cut. I am leaning twds teething too.

It might be roseola - the fever spikes in the evening, but when it finally breaks for good she will get a rash.
Is she irritable at all?
