Lower Abdomen/Bladder Pain?
This is my 1st month off BCP and 1st month TTC. I think I O'd on the 7th, making me 9DPO. I'm on CD 22. I've had a good amount of cramping and some nausea the last few days. Todays new thing is a pulling/stretching type pain in my lower abdomen when I get up from my chair. I notice it more when I get up to pee and it almost feels like it's my bladder that hurts. No pain when I pee though and all else seems normal. Is this a PG symptom or related to coming off the BCP? I'm so aware of any little thing I feel in my body now with TTC.

Re: Lower Abdomen/Bladder Pain?
I have a similar feeling, like below the belly button and in the top part of where the pubic hair starts? I've been off of BC for 3-4 months and I've been having the same feeling this month. Even after I pee, it's still there. Sometimes it's painful and sometimes it's just pressure. Hopefully it means our BFPs are coming next Friday!

Re: Lower Abdomen/Bladder Pain?
Have you considered a UTI? I know I got one right after my BFP! You can go to the doctor or they have over the counter testers now...but if it's positive you still need to go to the doctor.
I know 2 other people who got UTI's when they first were pg...

Re: Lower Abdomen/Bladder Pain?
You definitely become super sensitive to your body when TTC! Hopefully it is something good-but I dont' think it is anything to worry about. I was first wondering if you had a UTI. The pain sounds like the pain I get with a UTI. Sending babydust and hoping that it is a sign of something great!
I would call your OB and mention it only because of the bladder pain just to rule out a UTI

Jen, I'm sorry, I have no idea about that pain, but I'm confused about your days - can you help me understand?
You posted that you O'd on the 14th. If you posted this on the 16th, wouldn't that make you 2DPO? How do you get 9DPO? I want to make sure I have the concepts down and if what you posted is correct, then I definitely don't!

Ah, thanks for catching that. No, I think I O'd on the 7th. I keep getting my weeks messed up. I also keep thinking I had AF on the 1st, but it was the week before on the 24th. I think that's why I keep thinking everything's a week ahead.
As far as it posisbly being a UTI, I've had one once before and this feels nothing like that. It burned so bad when I peed with the UTI (TMI), but with this there's none of that. It's just this pulling/stretching type feeling down there right above the pubic area.

I get UTI's all the time...normally with the burning and such...but when i was PG and got it it was just more of a pressure than a burning...and it was still a UTI...I went to the doctor and they took my blood and gave me meds...I would def get it checked out just in case...
