They lost me with Mormon Modesty Clothing

That is about as far from my style as you are gonna get.

It's actually great for work. I'm not Mormon (or modest lol) and I love it. Got a few dresses and skirts because they're really flattering and I won't have to worry about wardrobe malfunctions. I'm 4'11, so I have to hem everything anyway, so I don't have to walk around in "dumpy length" clothing. The leggings are super soft. I'm not into the super wacky patterns, but there are plenty of them are more normal than pizza slices or zombie fish lol. My daughters (ages 5&3) hate wearing most pants, but love these.

I just received my first pair of leggings- solid hunter green and WOW they really are that soft. I'm genuinely considering changing into them at work right now. I hope they wash well!

They will wash well...just MAKE SURE you wash in COLD on GENTLE cycle and hang to dry. They will stay SO nice if you do.

Thank you!! Will do- I can't wait to wear them. I'm wearing the Cassie skirt I also bought today. So comfy and so cute!

bought my first piece at my sister's party last Thursday. Some of the leggings prints are too loud for me.

Their leggings are the best!!!!! So soft, comfy and the perfect thickness. I plan to be in them all Winter. I also like their pencil skirt and Irma tee shirt (it's the most perfect long tee for leggings I've found). Some of the prints are a little too funky for me but they make plenty of solids.

I finally tried it and love it. It's conservative in the sense that nothing is short or low cut but it really hugs me in the right places and imo looks sexy despite the Mormon stuff

My boobs definitely hang out a bit too much in the classic. Big boob problems=cleavage even in modest clothing lol.

Love the Amelia dress and the leggings. I tried a Nicole but again, big boob problem- doesn't fit in the bust. I'm so disappointed bc I am obsessed with the print but can't find it in any other item of clothing and I already got the largest size in the Nicole. This is the thing that annoys me about LLR.

I just looked at the site. Yuck. Why do they insist on making horrid prints for plus size women? Dec NOT for me.

They do have a lot of solid stuff, too. At least the seller I followed does. The leggings I bought were a solid deep hunter green and are gorgeous. I also bought a soft pencil skirt that is mint with white polka dots- fairly tame for them pattern wise.

I like some of the patterns best on the dresses and skirts. I don't know that I could pull off bold patterned leggings.

I'm pretty plus sized and I'm rocking some patterned leggings today! There are many weird/ugly ones (IMO) but some are actually pretty nice! The patterns are the same for most sizes I believe.

IMO all this direct marketing bullshyt is a scam.
The only people getting rich off it are the ones at the top.

I know - it ALL is. I am sure there are some that actually make money but I feel like those successes are few and far between.

I know a friend's mom who has been selling Mary Kay FOREVERRRRRR. She drives the whole pink Cadillac and everything. But her network of consultants and clients has dwindled because people A) don't want MK products any more, B) don't want to be bothered with this MLM crap or C) don't see any true profit and give up.

I agree. I've contemplated selling bc of how popular it is but $5k+ is insane to start. So I'll just remain a buyer (I've had 5 packages arrive to my house this week alone!). I'm also going to be selling the ones I'm not crazy about in LLR BST groups.

Idk about selling it but as a buyer I like the fabrics and patterns and the prices are decent- the fabrics seem like they'll last. So I don't care where I am buying it from/ who I am buying it from if it's something that I love wearing. I just wore a Carly and got tons of compliments. A pattern yes, but nothing too crazy- just floral.

So I just saw this stuff in person at a craft fair and now I really don't get the hype. They didn't have any leggings, though. But the dresses. Oh dear. Whoever called it Mormon modesty clothing was right on the money. And I buy 90% of my clothes at Ann Taylor so I'm not exactly sexypants over here.

So I just received my clothes I bought. I got the Carly dress and plain black leggings.

The Carly dress is HUGE and it's a size XS. Literally a tent. I emailed the girl and am in the process of returning it.
I don't get the hype at all with these leggings!! Yeah there soft. But they're not comfortable. I'm a size 4-6 with a butt and thighs. I got the OS and they're short and tight. I didn't think I needed he larger size since it's called "thick and curvy". I mean I am curvy but I assumed that's the plus size.

And when the host sent me the size guide it had all the styles included. When he sale started there were only like 5 things including the leggings. I thought it was deceiving to show all the styles then only sell 5 things.

Ok rant over! Thanks if u got this far!!
