"Luxury" All Inclusives?
DH and I are looking to spend 4-5 nights away for our honeymoon. - Beleive it or not, I've NEVER been to the Carribean - I'd love to do an all inclusive so I don't have to think about anything at all
The problem is, DH turns into a food snob when we travel .........and from what I've heard the food isn't so fabulous ........... He also wants a spa .........I just need a nice beach and a drink !!
Anyone have any suggestions ??
TIA !!

If you're looking to splurge and want good cuisine, I'd highly recommend the Royal Plantation Inn in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Its definitely luxury and has an option for all inclusive. Its absolutely beautiful; amazng rooms, several restaurants and a spa.
Good Luck!

My friend/mentor went to an all-inclusive called Jumby Bay. She is definitley a "nothing but the best" type and she highly recommended it to me for my next vacation. Here's the site: Jumby Bay

don't count places like that out until you talk to a travel agent - they usally get better rates
we did the four seasons nevis in the summer fro our honeymoon and with the travel agent it was half price of what was listed on the four seasons site
the four seasons nevis is beautiful - not all inclusive but we set it up for breakfast and dinner included - snorkeling and couples massage
in a week we only spent under a $1000 - that was for a bottle of wine every night - a predinner drink every night for both of us and a few drinks by the pool and a few lunches -oh that also including horseback riding one day
we had a three course dinner every night (and most nights i had lobster and a different souffle for dessert) we could eat breakfast from a buffet, room service or order from the restaurant menu

Really? Ok - I will speak with a Travel agent and see how I do with them - I think we used the AMEX people to book our Honeymoon and they were great .......Thanks !!

Royal Hideaway is excellent, though its in mexico and i know you said caribbean.
couples resorts are supposed to be really nice. Grand Lido is another, and also Secrets.

i totally agree with this!
we did a HM to hawaii and stayed at five star resorts and it was a fraction of the prices listed on their websites- we actually paid a pretty good price for our HM considering how nice it was - the resorts, etc. and i know people who are going to middle of the road AI's for the same price, total, that we paid to go to hawaii staying in five star places - it all depends on where you go (TA wise) - so shop around! GL!

I HIGHLY recommend this resort too. We went there for our HM and it was beyond amazing. They do have a resort in The Dominican Republic too though.

Re: "Luxury" All Inclusives?
Royal Hideaway is on my list of luxury all-inclusives I definitely want to stay at. Also check out Las Ventanas in Cabo...all the celebs go there. Not sure if is all-inclusive.
