Mac users, come in please

From time to time, the screen on my MacBook flickers. It was happening when it was running on the battery but right now it's plugged in and it's doing it. Any ideas?

Re: Mac users, come in please

Hmm that's wierd.

I know I have hotspots in the corners of my screen so when my curser accidentally moves to a corner my screen will go black until I click the screen again or my page will minimize... since that's what I set my hotspots to do. Maybe that's it? But if it's just flicker-ing for no reason then I would take it to the mac store for them to check it out.

no clue... I have not had that happen. Is your computer under a year old? The apple store will fix it free of charge... if not, still bring it in for a diagnosis.

Thanks. It's a little over a year old. I'm going to have to bring it in. I was reading on apple support a lot of people having this problem.

this works in your favor-- they srtill may fix it for free if it's an Apple issue.

I hope so! This is the first problem I've had in years with any Mac.

Sometimes the display cables can become a little loose....It happened to me with my last iBook when it was about 4 yrs old. The Apple Store genius bar fixed it free of charge in about 2 minutes. He said its a common issue.
