W T H !!!!!!! I cant believe whats going on!! Do you think Don is not coming back??? He has to!!!! I love how Peg in moving up! And now poor Joan!! i cant believe her fiance did that to her.. I LOVE THIS FREAKIN SHOW!!!!!!

I am still trying to figure out what Joan was doing that her fiance got all upset about ( her "move" when they were in bed that showed that she was so experienced ) BTW She is so gorgeous - I wish I had the skintone to pull off her hair color!
I feel so naive but I am so shocked with how forward the women are in this show - I always felt like times were different then. 
Peg is such a different person from last season ( I am watching the first season on netflix bc I just started getting into it this season )
And I think Don has had it! I dont know how long he can stay away and have enough money to survive. . .and how can Betty live without his cash?!

I also really started no not like Don at all.. I really hope he comes to his senses.. He is a fly by night.. I cant imagine him not coming back!!!
Betty is all screwed up.. One minute she is so shrewd and the next minute she tries to be normal.. Very realistic when you have marital problems..
I love Joan so much!! She is beautiful!!!!

but who is the guy who brought his dog to work...and then he let it go out on the street...the guy whose kids were at the office too...
That made me so mad!!!

Ohhhh Betty right.. Where was the blood? I never saw it?
I didnt see any either but adter she gave her daughter the riding boots she said "Mommy you are bleeding" and she looked down and saw blood. . . I guess she got her period but it seemed like a pointless thing to add?

Hmmmm.... I forgot about that with the blood. That reminds me- I cannot BELIEVE Betty pushed her friend toward that man, then reprimands her for sleeping with him (sorry the names escape me).
I go back and forth with my feelings for Don. I truly feel he is a good person- but a lost soul.
Here's my paste from my other post about this episode:
Peggy- GOOD for her- LOVE that she's being more aggressive. I wanted to poke that Xerox geek in the eye when he was being obnoxious to her.
Joan- Poor thing. Now matter what, she'll never get out of that *easy* image- even to her own fiance. I was yelling at the TV throughout that office scene. Such a prick. I so badly wanted happiness for her.....
Don/**** and the *real* Mrs. Draper. UNBELIEVABLE. I so love this storyline, although I'm getting annoyed that he seems to have "forgotten" his other life. I'm loving that we're finally getting some background on him.
The acting was unbelieveable on Jon Hamm's part. His whole demeanor was different in this episode. It made me so sad watching him talk about Betty in the flashback scene. He seemed so happy.
The closing scene was so...... baptismal. can't wait to see what changes we'll see in Draper once he finally goes home....

I love this show!
Very good analogy!! but now he did have that drink!!! He manipulated that entire merger!! I am afraid of it.. It just cant be good!!
Betty was so manipulative also when she set that up.. Thats a scorned woman for sure.. I think she is trying so hard to be a good mother! my Dh thinks she is horrible! But thats probably because I think Don is the worst..

AHHHHHHH this is my favorite show but these past 2 episodes I do not like. I am not a fan of the flashbacks and the wondering where it is possibly going with Don!
I am happy for Peggy finally being assertive.
I feel bad for Joan, I wonder where the story is going with her. Did her fiance rape her? That scene was disturbing.
Betty is just losing her mind and like another poster said...how is she surviving without Don's $$$?
They are not even renewed for season 3 officially yet so it looks like we will be waiting a long time for answers.

I know in the past, Drapers salary was mentioned (something like 30,000/yr) and my mom said that was HUGE in those days. He's got oodles in the bank for Betty to live off of. Also remember, she comes from money as well. I don't think Don's been gone that long as of yet, maybe a couple of weeks tops?
Can I just say that Sterling's performance during the partner's meeting was priceless! "I don't know which pair of eyes to look at...."

That was gross (the fox stole) but I love Sterling 
I have problems watching TV shows and bringing in practicality into it without just enjoying it. Like on Friends and SATC, they never worked just hung out all day! That is why I am thinking about Don and Betty and the money.

I know what you mean but I feel he left her w/so much.. they are loaded.. I dont know why they are not looking or him..
Also remember when he was watching the guys fix the hot rods?? He said he was looking for work.. Was that present or a flash back?? I say present DH says flash back.
