Madison's First Birthday! picture overload!! cupcake theme inside..

I had soo much fun planning Mady's first birthday! I spent many days on etsy finding the cutest things!

We had about 50 people. We ordered (3) 3 foot heros from BJs. FYI they come unsliced! i wish i would have known that prior but it wasnt the end of the world. they charge $27 for a 3 foot hero! the price was right! I made a LARGE tray of sausage and peppers, ordered a a tray and a half of ziti, i put out a bag of tysons chicken nuggets and popcorn chicken from BJs ( a big hit with everyone), my mother in law made a dish of chicken and a big salad. All the hot food pretty much went. We had a whole 3 foot hero practically untouched. Next time i would do a 6 foot hero.
Party started at 3pm, we served food at 4:15. we had a bowl of chex mix, gold fish, and animal crackers on each table for our guests to snack on. We served soda, water , and juicy juice. we also had out a few cases of beer.

For the longest time we were going back and forth on entertainment. we were going to do a balloon twister or magician but it was getting down to the wire so we scraped the idea. you know what? didn't miss it! we had an awesome time! the pinata was a hit! we had an ipod hooked up to speakers and it was perfect.

Everything turned out great!
i had such an awesome time! it was everything i hoped it would be for my beautiful little girl!

DH made the invites on photoshop.. we used a pic that was taken over the summer in her tutu. i think it captures her perfect cherub face!!
