The UPC is the Universal Product Code, it's an identifier for that specific item. So let's say that Infant Tylenol Drops, Cherry, 4 oz, has a UPC of 1234567890. Every single box of Infant Tylenol Drops in the Cherry flavor and 4 oz size will have the same UPC code, whether it was from this year, last year, or going forward.
It's the lot # that matters. They listed the UPC codes to make it easier for you to identify which product you have and thus which set of lot #s to look for.

Thanks for posting this. The bottle we have appears to be a recalled bottle, but I am also having no luck getting anyone on the tylenol line.
I also reached out to his doctor to see if she knows anything about this. He had tylenol quite a few days last week for a fever--and it is half empty. It sounds as if he would have stomach/vomiting issues, which he has not, but just want to check.
If anyone hears more about this, please post or fm if you have the chance.

One of my bottles has one of the recalled lot numbers-i don't have the box anymore so i cant check any other numbers. Do i assume that since the lot number matches one of the recalled products that is is bad? this is outrageous! the bottle is half empty-we have given my son this medicine at least a handful of times!

Do all your numbers match? For me the UPC matches but the others dont. Check again!
My UPC and lot numbers match. Crap! It says it was an inactive ingredient so do you all think he is okay? He used the tylenol last Monday. That was the only time in his life he got it. Can I bring it back to the store and get a new one? My other boxes UPC and lot match as well.

that is where i found the lot number but there weren't any other numbers on the bottle. i am assuming b/c the lot number matches that it is one of the recalled products. thanks for your response.
