make ahead funnel cakes
is this a thing?
i'd like to make them and freeze them for about a week. then maybe pop them in a toaster oven.
i want to say yes because aren't they very similar, if not the same, to pancakes...

Not at all similar. Funnel cakes are fried in oil. You can definitely make ahead and freeze, but they won't have the same, freshly made taste and texture if you reheat in a toaster oven.

Not something I would think you could reheat, they are so good b/c they are fresh.

Definitely better. Just an idea- my sister and mom made mini pancakes and stacked/skewered them with nutella and strawberries for my "sprinkle" last weekend. OMG they were so good!
If you wanted to do something a little "more" than pancakes. You could do the same with bananas and blueberries. They just know I love nutella and strawberries.
