Anyone watching? I'm 4 episodes in and I'm obsessed.
If you liked The Jinx (HBO) or Serial (podcast) you'll LOVE this series.

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
I finished watching it yesterday. I'd be curious to know how things are going now that it's aired and people know about all the injustices.

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
Man, I hate to say it but him and his family .. They are like something out of a horror movie. Where your car breaks down and you end up knocking on their door and you never leave.
From what I've watched and read ..i think he's guilty as sin. Even his background history - all his crimes, including animal cruelty where he put his cat on fire. All of that hints at blatant disregard to life and power issues.
They are all disgusting.
One person doesn't have that much bad luck, you know?

I'm on episode 3. How can anyone not see a conflict that the people who he was suing happen to be the ones that find the evidence to convict him!?

You watched the documentary and think he's quilty?
I only finished the first 3 episodes but what I've seen so far I don't think he's quilty. Nothing adds up.

I agree. And please....with the interrogation of his nephew. The kid was 16 yrs old, not the sharpest kid he actually thought he was going to go back to school. Unreal what they got away with.

Yeah that was completely insane (about the nephew) But the cops/investigators shot this woman? And framed him? It just sounds so far fetched, KWIM?
I'm going to rewatch a few more times, read Reddit a bit. I love hearing different theories. That's what I did with Serial. Even in serial, I think adnan is guilty.

Re: Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
It goes against everything in my being to say that a cop could be sinister. I am a huge supporter of our police.
That being said...(SPOILERS BELOW)
Finding the key, by Lenk after the 7th search?! In plain view?! The hole in the vile of blood?! Opened evidence from 1985?! Those are the two pieces that solidify for me that there was only one other party that could have done those things. Plus - ZERO evidence of her blood in Avery's house (including the obviously coerced story about her being in the bedroom), trailer, garage. Oh, and the woman who admitted the bullet evidence was CONTAMINATED?! Are you kidding me?!
I RARELY side with the convicted in these situations, and I absolutely recognize this foxy-series was clearly biased to argue his evidence, but

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
I just watched the first 4 episodes and am completely baffled. On a technical note, I find it really annoying that they didn't put captions during the parts where they're on phonecalls. I found it really hard to listen to. But, I will keep watching.

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
I just finished this last night...towards the end it really just got frustrating to watch.
SPOLIER ALERT***********
No matter if he was guilty or not guilty there is no way I believe the jury could find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Which is all they are required to do. Let's say even if he did kill her...there were so many loop holes in the prosecutions timeline, evidence, account of what happened that you cannot convict him. I know the documentary was one sided but the 3 day earlier call about the license plates? The key? The vile? The cell phone and deleted messages...finding out her password? The ex-boyfriend and her brother? The brother in law and nephew? Come on now.....The ex-boyfriend and her brother were beyond sketchy to me from the get go. The ex was labeling her dead before they even started the search. "The grieving process"
The first charge (rape) made me even more fearful of the judicial system than I already am. Then with Brandon....my heart breaks for that child he is so mentally incapable and now....ugh

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
I'm on episode 7 and totally hooked. It's such a crazy story. I'm never the type of person to believe in conspiracy theories at all. And I'm from a family full of law enforcement. I still don't know 100% what to think but there are just so many unanswered questions in this case. Fascinating and frustrating to watch, for sure.

I finished it and think he is innocent What a sad story He clearly did not do the first crime and was totally set up for this. It is so sad to me how the jury did not see his innocence.

Ok, I don't get something. He was exonerated on a rape charge, so he gets framed for murder!?! I don't get that. It's sad. Just a sad story all around. But I don't know what to believe

I googled the evidence that wasn't in the show, and I think he is guilty too. After I read what he did to his cat...he is a sick PO-S. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if the police did tamper with the evidence to ensure he was found guilty. Something was definitely off here.

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
SPOILERS!!!
Dh and I finished it last night. I can't for certain say he isn't guilty but if I was on that jury I would have enough doubt that I couldn't be able to convict him. There were so many times DH and I were like "are you kidding me" regarding how the investigation was carried out. Especially the part where that officer called in Teresa's plates before the car was found and said the type of car. To me he was looking at that car with the plates on it. And when you watched the end he was the officer escorting both Steve and Brendan from the court. Conflict of interest much?
If he was framed I believe someone else killed her (not the police) and when they found her car and body/burned skeleton they planted it on his property.

My question is why? Planting the key and car on the Avery compound is way too obvious. Imo. And the nephew was caught in the middle of all of this. And this poor woman died. And her ex and her brother both seem shady. I feel like no one looked into them. Why frame him for murder? I'm asking the general you here. Way too many questions were left unanswered

The only thing I could think of is to save them 36 million dollars. He had that huge lawsuit against them for the 18 yrs he spent in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
I just don't know how someone can slit someones throat, stab them in the stomach and there is no evidence of blood anywhere in that room, on them or their clothes. Impossible.
And I agree about the ex boyfriend. Something very shady about him.
Can someone link the story to the evidence that was against him that wasn't covered in the documentary.

Making a Murderer (Netflix show)?
The lack of blood spatter evidence is one thing that really sticks out to me. I teach forensics and it makes no sense and the fact that the key has no one else's Dna on it and it magically appears in plain sight after the place has been searched several times. I honestly don't know if he's innocent or guilty, but there is definitely room for reasonable doubt.
