Why is it that men refuse to go to the doctors office?
I mean...they could be breathing their last breath and ....NOPE not going to the MD to see what's up?

OMG- I had this VERY arguement with DH today!! He pulled his back out yet refuses to see the Dr, even a chiro...Makes NO SENSE...why suffer?

JT also refuses, and I mean REFUSES to take advil or tylenol or sudafed or any other over the counter medication because he feels like he can "deal with it", however, all he does is COMPLAIN about how he feels.

thankfully, my dh is not like this at all. especially since he lost his mom suddenly - because SHE refused to go to the dr for regular check ups.

That's the problem they are afraid... Keith was the same way, would never go but would say if i had to go he would say see if they'll give you extra he was terrified but never would admit it

I can't even tell you the arguments that I get into with DH.
Something has been wrong with his knee for about 2 months - he is in pain - I told him the other day - unless a baby is coming out of his knee I don't want to hear it again, unless he goes to the doctor

OMG! I have been trying for 2.5 years to get my DH to the Dr. Eventually I made the appointment for him and threatened him that if he did get any sort of illness in the future I would not be responsible for taking care of him.
DH's father died at 42 of a massive heart attack and my DH just turned 40. His mother also had very bad health and passed away at 65. Well, it turns out his cholesterol is WAY OVER the maximum limit and he'll be on medication for the rest of his life.
I suspect he didn't want to go because he knew he would end up having some problem.
Good luck getting him to go. Try threatening him too
