should your cuticles be cut or just pushed back?

having them cut leads to risk of infection if the tools are not properly sterilized. Having them pushed back is better.

I get mine pushed back, and any excess is trimmed a little.

Same here, trimming only when needed.
My toe cuticles always get cut, always seems to have extra.

they should only cut them off if they are on their way off already (like peeling)
