March 2016 - It's our Month!!!

Hey! 36w4d here and boy am I exhausted. Sleep is non existent and I'm extremely uncomfortable. Last night I had horrible stomach pains and was extremely uncomfortable.
At 36w baby was 6pounds 1ounce, soft cervix with no dilation. I'm nearing the end and I feel done more then not.

How are you all doing???

ETA:
So glad I'm not alone!!! Last night was much better then the previous night so I'm hoping I get some more nights like this but I know they are going to be fewer and fewer. This month is going to be awesome for us all. Let's keep in touch.

Any interest in creating a FaceBook group? Might be nice to share our birth stories and raising kids. Questions and advice. Let me know!

38w6d here and have this week's OB appt in an hour. As of last week, very slightly dilated but nothing really going on. Had a few contracts last week but I think they brought on by work stress. Nothing since then and I am now working from home full time until baby comes. A friend who was due 3 days after me had her baby on Sunday night, so it is definitely starting to feel real, but it could realistically still be up to 2 more weeks.

Also not sleeping great and uncomfortable. Only the largest and stretchiest of maternity clothes are still fitting. But I still feel like I want another few days to relax before baby arrives...guess we'll see!

March 2016 - It's our Month!!!

39w0d and so ready to have this baby! I just wanted to get through yesterday - I didn't want a leap day baby. Now I want to try all the tricks to get labor moving lol. I'm so big and uncomfortable. I don't have a paid maternity so I'm still working until I pop and I really wish I could stay home but it would cut into the time off I'm planning with the baby.

March 2016 - It's our Month!!!

35+5 here. I am exhausted. I am actually sleeping better than I was a month ago. Sometimes he still feels high and I crave a good breath, other times like now I feel like he is super low and is just going to fall out of me.

We still have to get his room painted and set up, hoping for that to be done in a week and a half.

I am hoping he is on time or late. My house has been under construction since summer between a huge reno and bedrooms, so I would like 1 or 2 weeks of nothing at all to just wait for him.

38 Weeks tomorrow. So over this The baby is low, softening cervix and slightly dilated. The pressure over the past week in my pelvic area has been pretty intense. Even laying here in bed now I feel as if I am getting jabbed down south

Swelling has gotten worse, stomach aching here and there, waddling like a duck are just a few highlights

And we still have to pick a name! Hopefully I'll get good news on Thurs. at my next OB appointment

39 weeks and being induced tomorrow!!!!!
I have GD but it was well controlled so they were going to let me go as long as 41 weeks as long as everything stayed ok. However my DD's (8y/o) bday is at 40.5 weeks so I was so afraid that I would be in the hospital for her birthday. My dr said she would consider an elective induction after 39 weeks as long as I was showing progress. I saw my perinatologist today and she was pro induction and then I was 2 cm at my OB appt so my dr said she would do the induction. I was expecting Friday or Monday but there was an opening tomorrow so we took it!!
I can't believe I'm having a baby tomorrow!!!!!

I'm so done, exhausted, and in so much pain! Please let this end I've been sleeping better but having nightly crying fits, I'm so done and ready to meet

36w today! I'm in crazy amounts of pain. My crotch feels like it's going to split in two. I can barely walk and I've been putting 10 hour days in (I'm a teacher) trying to get caught up and organized for my replacement. I'm exhausted all the time.

DD was born at 38w3d so I'm nervous little man is going to come early too. But kind of hoping my dr will say I should stop work after my appointment tomorrow.

I know how you feel! I'm trying to get everything together so that my leave replacement has an easy transition to the classes and its just so tiring! And don't you love how teaching effects the swelling in your feet and ankles!

She's here!
Gabrielle Reese arrived at 7:15pm on 3/2/16 at 7lbs 6.6 oz and 19 inches! We are in love and big brother and big sister are over the moon! I will post pictures when I'm home and on my laptop.

My delivery went relatively smoothly but my blood pressure dropped after the epidural so it got a bit hairy for a little while but Gabby was stable the whole time. She took a little while to get the hang of breast feeding but she's nursing like a chance today!

I'm 36w1 day And just had the GBS test and my dr checked me. I'm 2 inches dilated and 80% effaced! Tomorrow is now my last day of work. I'm definitely freaking out now, I want him to stay in a few more weeks at least!

Went to my doc yesterday for my 38 week check. Low baby, lots of pressure and 3 cm dilated. Due to a previous loss and other factors, I will induced on Wednesday at my 39 week mark! (unless I go earlier :)

36 weeks, 2.5 CM. having random strong contractions and the pressure gets intense during them. I can really feel her head bearing down, I'm getting nervous since it hurts so much already

March 2016 - It's our Month!!!

So I woke up at 3:30 this morning thinking that I had to go #2...but alas nothing. Went back into bed and get getting what I have to presume are contractions. First they seemed to be about 10 min apart, then became more random. This was happening all morning! Then after about noon, they seemed to just stop.

So frustrating! I have a wedding to go to tonight so I am hoping that maybe that will set things in motion :)

I've spent all day trying to induce labor so I hope they work. Tons of walking, spicy foods, foot reflexology, pinapple and sex lol.

So went to the wedding last night.....was getting contractions (I believe) throughout the evening. Everyone was coming up to me and asking me how I was feeling and I was like "hopefully in some sort of pain that will lead to this kid's eviction!" I had a few through the night so now I am just going to take things as they go.

Question is.....do I go to work tomorrow if they are still sporadic? My last day was going to be Tuesday anyway, but I still would like to wrap a few things off before I left at school and grab personal items and such. Would you go?
