Feeling good. Haven't scheduled my glucose test yet and I'm not sure if I've felt movement. I feel bubbles popping and so did the hubby but idk what that was. I just switched to stony brook midwives and found out I won't have anymore sonograms done so from here on out it's a mystery.
Thats a bummer (regarding the sonograms)

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is feeling. Any updates? nesting, nursery, getting ready for birth? We're getting so close!
My mother-in-law just ordered all our furniture so hopefully we'll be able to put the nursery together soon and let me cats accept it lol. I booked a newborn photographer and recently booked a birth photographer. I started hypnobabies and trying to have full faith in this for my natural birth. My newest thought is to do or not to do a 3d sonogram.

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
Thanks for checking in.
25 week now, feeling great. I just switched insurance and last week i met the new doctor, she's amazing.
Starting January i will start working on the nursery, i believe the baby shower is early February which i'm very excited about. I have to get both of my dogs new to the new changes, smells etc. We never got around to do a babymoon but that's ok.
I'm also debating about the 3d sono.

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
27 weeks at this point and feeling pretty good. This particular week is a milestone for me because I lost my last pregnancy around the 27 week mark so I will be happy to reach 28!
Increasing kicks, especially at night.....my bladder is less than happy though.
Took the 1 hr challenge test and failed (I usually do)...took the 3 hour on Saturday and no results yet. I figured that if a positive result came back, they would have reached out to me by now. In the meantime, I have changed my diet a bit by giving up soda (a HUGE step for me). So I am drinking much more water, milk, and watered down juice.
Other than that, looking forward to the holidays in FL!
Happy Holidays to all and onto 2016!

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
28 weeks and still feeling good over here. I took the 1 hour glucose on Friday and haven't heard anything so I'm hoping that's good news. We have finished cleaning out and painting and getting new carpet in both nursery and another room we're turning into a playroom. No nursery furniture yet. My shower is Jan 2 so I figured I'd wait until after that to really get going. It is definitely starting to feel like it's coming soon, but also still kind of surreal. Definitely lots of kicks and heartburn but otherwise, still feeling good, staying active, and enjoying the fact that the outdoor temps have remained pretty high so I can still walk and run with the dog (who continues to be VERY curious about the bump, and also very protective of it!).

Thank you, I did. I'm feeling a lot of pressure, this baby is getting heavy! I keep thinking I'm going to have him/her soon. It doesn't help that my girlfriend who was due after me just had her LO ar 31 weeks! Other than that feeling good and just waiting for this baby shower so I can get organized.

Almost 33weeks and still feeling good! Getting a little more tired and having a harder time bending over, etc but not too bad! I had my first sprinkle today and have another that friends are throwing me in 2 weeks. Room is getting painted on Friday and furniture delivered on 2/1. I'm not ready logistically at all for this baby but I'm dying to meet her
Hope everyone else is doing well!

30w5 days and I'm super tired. DD just tuned 21 months and running after her is tiring. DH doesn't get home until 8 pm most days so 5 days a week it's all me after work. I don't feel ready yet! Need to do the nursery and figure out how to decorate it. Also need to get some new boy clothes! I can't believe it's only 9 weeks left!
Little man is very active, wiggling and kicking and stretching.

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
33w5d over here and definitely feeling more exhausted. DH was traveling during this snowstorm and I had to shovel the top step outside the back door just to get the door open to let the dog out, did it with a small shovel and took it slow and still took it out of me. I can't imagine running after a toddler (this is my first) right now! Just more aches, peeing all the time, and terrible heartburn, otherwise.
I had my shower on LI already but I'm having a small brunch with local (I live in NJ) friends on Feb 13, so I'm kind of waiting to get the rest of the stuff until after that. I at least have ordered or received almost everything I think we need immediately, so even if she comes early it should be okay. Crib and dresser are here and assembled. Chair was supposed to be delivered on Saturday during the blizzard, obviously that didn't happen! Nursery is already painted and I have some ideas for DIY wall decor I want to tackle next weekend. Starting to feel much more real!!

33w6d and I'm getting antsy to meet my LO! My heartburn is still killing me but I've gotten used to it. I definitely OD on Tums but whatever. I had my shower last weekend and got all our big items. I still need to go out and get the little things. I set up as much as I could and washed all the clothes. We're still waiting on the glider.
Any team green ladies have a strong feeling of gender? I'm not sure at all and seems like now one else is since my guessing website has 42% girl and 57% boy lol

Hi mommies! Just doing a check in as we get to the final stretch!
I know for me....this kid seems to want to come out now!
Getting a lot of pressure down below, kicking, swelling of the ankles, and killer heartburn! But in a little over a month...the little guy will be here!
How are the rest of you ladies holding up?

I agree with everything you said. My fingers are really swollen too, no more wedding ring for me. I don't wear my ring to work so luckily it didn't get the chance to swell up around it.
4 weeks left and I now understand how people feel when they're "done being pregnant"

Hope you all have a smooth remaining weeks!

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
36 weeks for me as well. Sleeping terribly and heartburn is a beast. Definitely starting to just feel tired, and this every day little bit of snow that's icy at night is really messing with my ability to at least get out and walk the dog for a nice distance every night. Anyway, still closed up down there also, and feeling fine otherwise. I have an U/S tomorrow and I haven't had one since 20 weeks, so I guess we'll see how baby is looking!

I'm starting to feel like I'm done with all of this! Trouble sleeping, pain everywhere, I'm exhausted and I look ugly
I haven't been eating much because I always feel full or nauseous.
I've been waiting for this nesting thing to kick it, but it has not!

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
I just had my 35 week appointment yesterday. Baby looks great, weighing 5 1/2 pounds. Had my first internal check....1 cm dilated and baby is low. It could be like this for a while, but it shows that we are getting close!

I had my 34 week appt and sono the other day. He's 61st percentile for weight, 5 lbs 14 oz (oh god!) and looks great. Fluid levels are also good. They even canceled next week's appointment and made it for 2 weeks. They will do the strep b test then and another sono at 38 weeks.
Baby boy is kicking and elbowing me like crazy. Thankfully he's head down but still very high. DD was born 38 weeks 3 days so I don't know what to expect this time. Having trouble sleeping And I think I'm having Braxton hicks a lot but I'm not sure. Heartburn comes and goes.
Anyone have a baby this big at 34 weeks and not have a giant at delivery?

Is anyone else ready for this baby to get here? 12 days left and I'm just big and uncomfortable and I want to meet this LO! I'm so antsy lol. I'm working until I pop so it's getting me nervous that I'm going to leave something undone (I probably will but whatever.)

Me!!! I had my 38week appt yesterday and was 1 cm plus was contracting most of the day so I got it in my head it was happening sooner than I expected. Last night and today contractions stopped but they are starting again...not sure if they are BH but I'm thinking positive!!
Have you progressed at all? Labor vibes to you

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
Still pretty locked up down there but had some contractions Tues evening and yesterday morning. Working from home from here on out but struggling a bit with that transition and giving up control. Just need to get past that so I can return to getting excited about baby coming. Cried 4 times yesterday. I hope baby girl gives me at least a few more days (due date is March 9 so hopefully) but my mom keeps telling me how her labors basically escalated over 3 hours from barely dilated to fully dilated and giving birth! We'll see....

I don't believe I'm dilated, they did the strep b exam and didn't mention it. I think I've felt contractions here and there but I honestly have no clue. They were sharp cramps but only lasted a second.

Re: *****March 2016 Mommies ****
I have my 35 week check up tonight. I had a sono 2 weeks ago and the baby was 4 pounds 5 ounces. So i'm pretty sure by now is on the 5 pound range.
I had my shower 2 weeks ago, i have so much to still put together that is incredibly overwhelming but at least the crib and dresser is all done except i have not decorated at all. This weekend i will pack my hospital bag and hope for the best.
Good luck ladies.
