March mommies are we ready???

With 2 days left till March... are we ready???

I am personally no where near ready and it's driving me nuts. DH just came home from upstate days ago and had to get back to work so baby stuff was on hold for a little while ... I still have to

~wash clothes, blankets, etc. we got from the shower - not easy task we have to go out to do laundry.
~DH has to get all the boxes out of our apartment and store them in the shed that we put up in my grandparents yard.
~We then have to assemle the pack and play, swing, and changing table that are sitting in my grandparents living room right now.
~Order a netting for over the pack in play to keep my kitty out
~Finish packing hospital bag... this is 90% done just need a few other odds and ends.
~Buy diapers and bottles, and nursing things because we didn't get even one of these at the shower.
~And some other misc. things that I wanted to get done before the baby got here like taxes, a hair cut. etc.

And this baby could come any day now so I'm hoping that we can get as much of it done as possible tomorrow when DH is off.

I AM READY! I'm due a week from tomorrow and I have a dr. appt in an hour...I'm praying that he gives me good news, at the last visit I wasn't dilated at all...I really reallly don't want to go late! Please send labor vibes this way!!!

So not ready! You sound similar to us! I wish the nesting instinct would kick in, I have so much to clean!!!!

I need to get detergent so I can wash clothes/blankets.

We have our "work" shower next week, so the following weekend we will be buying what we still need in the beginning.

I think i'm almost ready. I still have to make the finishing touches to the room and get the rest of the apartment baby ready. I am going for the hospital tour on Saturday which will make me feel better about what to do that day. I had my first internal this morning.. No dialation and the baby is still measuring small so who knows!! I am soo excited though.

I'm ready with everything. I'm glad b/c my EDD is March 23rd, shceduled for induction for March 10th at 6:30am. However as if today I am 3cm and 70% with erratic contractions. should be anyday now

Absolutely NOT READY AT ALL!!! I have yet to even tell my mom that I will be moving in with my boyfriend!! So not ready for THAT argument.

But besides that, I haven't done ANY baby laundry, haven't assembled bassinet, haven't packed hospital bag, haven't gotten a crib, haven't decided on what color to paint nursery... so basically I have done a lot of NOTHING it seems like!! I CANNOT BELIEVE MARCH IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!

I feel pretty ready. I have a few more things to do:

- Go to my shower (it's this weekend! )
- Pack hospital bag
- Meet with pediatricians - I have a March 4 consultation at the practice I plan on using
- Register with cord blood bank

Wow, I guess those are pretty important things...better get on them ASAP!

I'm just about ready.

-I just need to make room in the kitchen for the bottles.
-Sterilize the bottles
-Pack my bag. I think I have everything I need, I just need to actually put it all in a bag.

And I think that is about all.

I technically have 4 weeks left and I just have to pack my hospital bags and wash all of the new clothes we received.

Cord blood registry is complete and all lamaze/c-section classes have been taken.

I still feel overwhelmed and anxious though...

NOT READY AT ALL!!!
Furniture needs to be delivered! I still have to go to bellini and get my bedding! The baby's room is painted and has all my shower gifts in the room they need to be put away I HAVE ZERO energy! I just cant get my act together!!! Im just not myself!

I wouldn't say ready....

I have to

- do baby's laundry and then put everything away
- decorate baby's room
- add my robe and baby's and my own coming home outfit to hospital bag
-get speakers for ipod....add and delete music on ipod
-fill out disability papers so I can give to my doctor at my first appointment after birth
- set up co-sleeper
- install car seat
- DH has to add organizer to closet and do crown molding in the baby's room
- clean the house from top to bottom!!

I went for my weekly yesterday and I am not dilating yet.

I meet with the pediatrician tonight

I have my last childbirth class at the hospital (tour) on Tuesday.

I hope I'm not forgetting anything...

WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it, but I finally feel ready for March and DD to be here!!!! For so long, I was wishing pregnancy would last a few extra months but all of a sudden it switched and I want to go into labor NOW!! I'm due 3/14 but will be scheduled for an induction sometime the week before. I want to go naturally so I am hoping next week brings good things!!!

I have a few things to do but nothing major.
I'm waiting for my BRU coupon so I can buy the rest of the stuff off my registry.
Waiting for the wall letters to arrive to hang them.
I have to clean/sterilize pacifiers and toys.
Handwash a couple of remaining clothes that are handwash only.
Finish my shower thank yous
Make a list for DH of who to call when I am in labor or when I give birht.

The nursery has a little more room now!
Tonight's plan is to decal the dresser- then this weekend is to install the car seat, pick up the crib, and wash baby clothes.

well we got some things accomplished today... emptied out 75% of the boxes in our apartment to make room for baby.
But still tons to do ughh can I just hire someone to do it all for me... LOL

I am 2 cm as of Monday. I also found out that the baby's heart beat has a little arrythmia so I've been back and fourth to the dr's office for cardio's and tests.
If I don't go on my own (pray I do!!!) I will have to be induced!
so so so scared about that!!!!
I've always went natural; I fear being induced b/c I have no clue what that is like. I feel like this is my first time delivering.
I have to count baby kicks at night (how nerve wracking) and follow up with bio physical's twice a week. And if i don't go on my own by 3/14 well then .......that's when I'll be induced. I feel like such a scardy cat!!!

Am I ready? Yes; as ready as I will be. it's going to be very hard having a 10 month old and a newborn......but this is what I wanted and am very grateful for it! I also really think that this is my last baby so in a way I want to hold on to this moment. However, the arrythimia is giving me such anxiety.I just want her born and healthy!!!

The house still needs some renovations and they'll be working on it this weekend and next week.

I'll keep you guys posted!!!

Most of the baby clothes are washed.
Car seat installed(will have it checked out by fd)
Changing table/dresser is up
Crib has to be put together
Bassinet is all set
We have have the baby essentials(lotions, wipes . bottles, etc)
Don't have the formula or diapers yet(waiting to see what the hospital uses)
have the pediatrician picked
Going for my last bikini waxing (for a while) on Monday: Gotta be nice and clean for th dr.blush:

gh... I hear ya. I just got out of the hospital agian for my BP! Now I am on bed rest untill this lil girl is born so... I cant do anything, I have so much to get done. I have a great family that has been helping me out though. Its just driving me crazy. I want everything to be done my way. lol
