Hi all!

I so can't wait to meet my little girl!

Complaints:
Heartburn (taking zantac, but still can be a problem)
Fingers are numb
Ankles swollen, but not uncomfortable
putting on socks is a pita

My Big complaint is that I had the flu a few weeks ago and was coughing so hard that I hurt something near my ribs on my right side. Its not my uterus, cause I had a U/S last week and she said its probably muscular - but it hurts so bad when I cough, sneeze, laugh, and when I lie down in certain positions. Its a very targeted area - I mentioned to DR last week and she said take tylenol, but now its been 2 weeks since it started and I'm worried its more than muscular.... and will get worse when I push.

Anyhow - good things:

Finally had shower on Sunday!
Been feeling braxton hicks since Sunday night!
still waiting on furniture, but we can use pack and play in a pinch.
Finsihed Childbirth classes and am taking child care Wed night at Winthrop
Bags are just about packed - everything is laid out and ready to be put away.
Baby is head down, but U/s last week said Cervix was tight.

Can't wait!!!! 36w 5d today!!!!!

I am excited that I am 2 cm's b/c I only have 8 more cm's to go!!!! I got 2 freebies!!! Yeye!!!!

Truly, I don't think I am going to have her anytime soon. I think I will be around for another 3 weeks. I am just happy that I am 2 down and 8 to go.

Holly Cow! Really!!! I better get myself going then too. I go to the dr today, I am not sure I am ready to hear that I am progressing.
I just hope they tell me today that her head is down!

35 wks here and I have most of the same complaints as you ladies! I've gained so much weight and moving around is so hard and I get out of breath so easily.

I've had cramps for about 2 weeks now, so I thought for sure something was starting to happen. BUT, I went for my first internal last night and nothing yet.

I'm SO with you Preguntas...the internal really did hurt and I had absolutely no idea it would!

Nursery is finished, and I think my shower is this weekend. Then I'll start washing baby clothes and packing my bag.

Hang in there ladies and good luck in the coming days/weeks!

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and yesterday they scheduled my c-section for next wed on march 5th I spent the day in the hospital yesterday because my blood pressure was elevated and I've been taking on a lot of fluids so they were concerned with toxemia but things seem to be ok. I can't wait to meet my little girl next week!!

Morning ladies!! We are so close now!!!! I will be 36 weeks on Thursday and I am totally freaking out over everything. I still feel "not ready" for . I have to sort through all the clothes we received at the shower and start washing them. We have to put the bassinet together, haven't even gotten a crib yet, have to paint the nursery... ACK! It all just creeped up on me SO FAST!!!

I feel pretty good considering how gigantic I am. I did get swollen ankles and feet last week and that was hideous! Heartburn still going super strong, and I STILL haven't been able to get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. It is so uncomfortable laying down and turning from side to side.

I needed 2 sheets to wrap around my fatass.

PIMP, I didn't even think to ask for another. OMG thank god they didn't offer it to me I would have died. I always tuck my shirt under my butt so my crack doesn't show when the door opens. Then when I get up to get dressed I stick so badly to the table it's ridiculous!

So I think she'll be here in the next 3 weeks. I can't see going longer than that!!! OMG!

Hey ladies! i'm miserable, i'm ready for baby to come NOW! I'll be 39 weeks on Thursday and I have a dr. appt tomorrow. At the last one he said baby was in position but I wasn't dilated I really am so ready to not feel like a fat cow anymore! my whole body just looks inflated! Dr. says that baby is approx. 6 1/2 lbs and my BP is great so he doesn't feel there will be a need to induce if baby doesn't come on his/her own...Doc will make me wait until the middle of the second week! YIKES So hopefully will stop being lazy and get to work! LOL!
Here's some for all you ladies, hang tight there's a light at the end of the tunnel....I think!

I had another internal today and I am 1 cm and my cervix is finally softening (but not effaced at all), thanks to primrose evening oil!!!

Primrose oil?

(I want to do EVERYTHING I can to get things going b/c I'm sooo ready to go earlier rather than on time/later. Also, my Dr. swears that first-timers go past their due dates - and I secretly want to prove her wrong!).
