Mardi Gras
Do you think they should have it or not?
I, personally...do not think they should have. I just saw pictures on the news...
sooo many people--at least 2/3 are without homes and do not know where their next meal will come from, yet people are out there celebrating Mardi Gras...

I think everyone who would like to go down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras should go....only I think when they get there, they should do something meaningful to help someone out down there rather than get drunk and party.

I don't think they should have. Or if they did do something - they should have raised money for those who are still without shelter and possesions.

Me too! I realize it brings a lot of income into New Orleans, but there is still the rest of the state to consider.

i think it would be good for new orleans to be honest.
they need it.
let them finally have a fun time.
but i do agree, there should be fundraisers and such------ but im sure there is.
this girl i know was caught during katrina. she spent a week in the superdome.
she is going back for mardi gras
