how hard is it to get a reservation there? if I call for a Saturday night two weeks from now are they going to laugh at me? I always hear its impossible to get a reservation

Hmm - two weeks out in the WINTER -- you might be OK.
I would give it a shot.
I don't think they'll hang up on you.
The summer? That's another story

My favorite local restaurant. Dressy top w jeans is fine.
Sometimes when I go I make a tasting menu "set list" & write down each plate as it comes. The most I counted at a Tasting was 26 plates. 
So go hungry & be prepared to leave super FULL.

It's amazing, by far one of my favorite restaurants. I wear what I would normally wear to go out for a nice dinner. Dressy casual?
