I do several swipes for each application to make sure I get full coverage and definition and I tend to do 2-3 applications. But I try a go for a natural look, not heavy.

I usually do 2-3 strokes per eye.

Was she recoating her brush? I can't even imagine what my eyelashes would look like if I did that many strokes. I think I'd have like 3 giant clumped together eyelashes. After more than maybe 5 strokes max (and that's only when I'm not liking how they're falling) mine all start to stick together and look awful.
