I hit the clearance rack in target this weekend and got 2 pairs of black pants in a size 2 that are REALLY comfortable for less than $7 each, and a pair of jeans in a size 4 that are a little big, and not so trendy - but again, comfortable and cheap (under $7). I also found 2 cotton tops in XS for $2.48 on that rack! I don't need tops yet, but I figured - why not?!

Thanks I'll have to check Target!

Re: Maternity clothes--petite & slim girls

I feel your pain because I am short and thin and finding a pair jeans was horrible. I ended up splurging on a pair of 7's because they were the most flattering but they are still a little big in the leg area. I just ordered a pair of slim fitting jeans from the GAP so I will let you know how they fit. I just hope this weather gets better so I will live in dresses and skirts for the rest of the time and screw the jeans.

Re: Maternity clothes--petite & slim girls

I bought Buffalo jeans at Destination Maternity this weekend. I really liked the Sevens but they were over 200$ and thats a lot to spend not knowing if Im going to get a big butt! Im an XS now, there was def room to grow in the pair I got...but I figured it was a safer bet than spending a lot and them not fitting in another 10 weeks... The story in Melville is beautiful and they had a really nice selection. And the girls are so helpful! Good luck...
Im in the market myself for some cute/non-frumpy shirts!!
