But with allergies, pollen, air pollution, skin cancer from sun exposure, bug bites, etc., it's probably safer to just hide them in a closet....

Do you think people will stop buying toys even with the holidays right around the corner? DS isn't old enough to play with a majority that was recalled but who knows what is going to be recalled next. He chews on everything...his bouncy seat, jumperoo, walker, books. Even though that stuff may not be Mattell products, I now wonder if they will have the same problem with lead being EVERYTHING is made in China. This is so scary

I'm not stopping. I can't worry about it. If something is recalled that he has then I will just get rid of it.

this is soooooo frustrating. I already had to take some beloved Elmo stuff away from dd and she was crying! I hate this!

I'm going to try to find stuff made in the good old USA.
That will be my solution to the problem until they find we're using lead paint as well
