Maxi Dress- for a 5'2 girl. where can i find?
any suggestions?
I am a size 7/8. so Im not thin.
Every dress I get is so long even with heels and I need one for my hubbys surprise 40th next sat. I want to be comfy and not in heels all nite.

I have the same problem. Annie Sez has some great Calvin Klein dresses that were not too long. Believe it or not, Talbots at the Deer Park Tanger has petite and those dresses for me perfectly. To not have to get something shortened is my new goal. I hate it.

Old Navy has Maxi Dresses in Petite. I bought 3 this season and they fit great! I am also 5'2".

Petite is online only! :( Unless you get lucky and someone returned your size to the local store after ordering online. It happened to me once!

Don't rule out the cheap, discount stores.
The cutest maxis that I get the most compliments on are from places like Kmart and Wal-Mart.
I'm 5'4 and wear them all summer long with flip flops mostly.
They do not drag on the ground.
I've also seen a few this season at Target where the front is short and the back is longer.

I'm 5'2 and I find that the INC brand maxi dresses in petite fit me really well. I've bought them at Macy's
