Maxi dresses for short girls?
I am short, REALLY short, under 5' short. I SO want to wear Maxi dresses but they are always like 12 feet too long on me. Anyone else have this issue, does anyone make Maxi's for short people?

Maxi dresses for short girls?
I am super short too, I was thinking of getting one and getting it hemmed. Even with my really high wedges they are too long.

I am 5'4" and I just can't wear them, even hemmed. They just don't look right on me, I don't know if it's because I am short or my overall shape

Get them hemmed or wear with a wedge. I'm 5'1" and that's what I do.

I would have agreed with you on this, I am just 5 feet tall and always thought maxi dresses where too long but I had some luck on Monday. I went to TJ Maxx actually and tried on 4 of them and all of them fit me fine in length. I only ended up buying 1 because i didn't love the rest but the length on them hit just at my feet or a tad longer. I figure if I wear a little bit of height on my shoe, I will be fine and by height, I really only need a flop with a little more thickness. Also, I noticed a bunch of maxi's with the high low hem line, so the front isnt a problem. Definitely recommend checking out TJ Maxx and I saw a bunch in Marshall's too

edited to include...they looked really deceiving on the hangers, like way long. But when I tried them on, I guess because they hug some curves, the length really was fine

I am 5 foot 3 and I cannot wear them unless they are rather fitted and are petite length...look for the petite length its out there..

I've seen a bunch this season where the dress hem line is shorter in the front and hangs longer in the back. They seem like a good option for shorter girls.
Also this style look like they could cross over well on a cool spring morning, or in the fall with boots and a sweater/jacket.
Target in fact had a rack last night when I was there.
I'm only 5'4 myself and have a ton of maxi dresses. I usually try them on first though.

I am 5'2 and LOVE maxi dresses. I haven't bought any in a few years but the ones I do have are from the Gap, Old Navy, ATL, TJMaxx and Joyce Leslie  . Most of them hit right at the bottom of my heels so when wearing flip flops with a little wedge, they are the perfect length.
I know you didn't ask but these are the most AMAZING flip flops. SO comfy and just the perfect little lift for us petite girls. I have them in black, brown, tan and navy.
