I am SO EXCITED!
DS will have a little sister to protect and look after!
I actually wasn't too shocked I had a feeling it was a girl, plus everyone in my family thought it would be a girl also.
Can't wait to go shopping!!!

Baby girl is doing great! Had my 24 week check. Handed me dreaded drink for the glucose tolerance test at next visit. I hated it last time and it seems like more! Anyone else dreading?

i cant drink that stuff i had a servere reaction to it with my first pregnancy and have refused it since. im doing a fasting blood test.

Have my glucose tolerance test tomorrow! Really hoping I pass and that I don't gag on the stuff!! It will be my first time doing this, any suggestions?? And, for some reason it is 2 hours not 1?? I downloaded a pregnancy book to my kindle so I'm hoping that helps pass the time! How is everything feeling??

Good luck! Honestly, I didn't find the drink that bad. It tasted like orange soda, but not carbonated. Not sure why yours is 2 hours, for my first PG they only offered the one hour to me.
I'm taking mine on Monday.

Sorry I havent been on much lately but I'm Team
ETA Going for my glucose test next week, and I have a bad feeling for some reason. Anytime I eat sugar I get this horrible taste in my mouth and sometimes I feel jittery if I eat sugary stuff. I know GD doesnt really have any symptoms but I just weird after I eat sugar. Will keep you all posted!

I found out this week that I FAILED the 3 hour glucose test. I saw an endocrinologist and this shit is no joke. 4 times a day finger pricks, very strict diet etc. Good luck everyone! Hope no one else ends up in this boat, it is not fun

i cant eat anything but protein in the beginning of the day or i get sick. sugar also makes me feel off and i am prone to sugar issues during pregnancy. i cut out a lot of gluten as well when im preggo because it also makes my sugar nuts

How did everyone else do? I'm finding out today if I passed. Hope so!

Bumping to see how you guys are making out in the third trimester so far...
I found out on Friday that I'm going to start working from home on May 1st until the baby comes. 9 weeks 2 days away!!! It sounds so close yet so far at the same time. Sighhhhh.

I failed my 3 hour test also. I'm actually looking forward to meeting with the Nutritionist to learn more about eating, I'm hoping I will feel better once I get started and hoping that my headaches will go away!
