Re: McDonald's Bday party?
I would only hope they'd have some burgers and fries for the adults too! My heaven!

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
I think it's one of those things where the majority of invited guests will attend and you'll have a couple of hold outs because of the location.. but you always have some people who won't attend anyway.

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
We eat a lot of organic and pretty healthy, but I'd still let my kids go. I wouldn't want them to miss out on a party with their friends
Kids hardly eat at birthday parties anyway

The play area there is huge. A 7 year old would like it.

We always told the parents they could get whatever they wanted to eat and we paid. It was the cheapest birthday parties we ever paid for with the parents food included.

McDonald's Bday party?
I only wish dd would eat their food! Life would be so much easier some days if she'd just east a fast food cheeseburger lol.
Maybe I don't know bc my girls are still young but I can't imagine kids being bored at a birthday party like that. It would be sad if they couldn't entertain themselves for an hour in a big play area. I remember going to mc Donalds parties as a kid around that she and I always loved it. If they're rubbing around with their friends they shouldn't have to be entertained every second imo.

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
My daughter was bday party hostess there up until last week... They used to do face painting but now it's only open play and food and cake the kids get really rowdy but they seem to have fun

McDonald's Bday party?
I would decline because I wouldn't allow my daughter to eat from there.

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
The parties there look fun and are reasonable. The only issue is that the play area is always open to the public and they have multiple parties going on at a time so it's hard to keep track of the kids.

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
Many many years ago, my brothers fifth birthday was at that same McDonald's. It was fun, even for us older kids (I was 6 turning 7 soon). We liked the play area and food, plus they had a face painter. That kept us entertained. Could you pay extra or bring in a face painter, balloon person or something extra to make sure the kids are occupied?
As for parents who don't allow their kids to eat anything from McDonald's ever, let them decline. I bet a vast majority of people will not have a problem with it.

Judging by the lines at McD's every time I go to one or even drive by one, I'd be willing to bet very few people would be declining!

Re: McDonald's Bday party?
I never had anyone decline for a party there. Everything in moderation and I don't get not allowing your child to have a treat once in awhile as long as it is not going to harm them.
