Can I say neither? Eddie Bauer makes an awesome collapsable booster that you attach to the chair and pull-up to the table. It's SUPER portable and light. I love it.

Everyone told me the hook-on was the way to go... well, i live in NYC and go out to eat AT LEAST 3x a week and have used that exactly twice. SO wish i had gotten the FP RF booster...

I have one thats like the 2nd pic and loved it!! I like that it went so close to the table and I was able to put one of those table toppers down and not have to worry about clean up.

Be careful with the second one because it doesn't always fit under a table. My kitchen table has wood under it so that chair would not be able to latch on to it. KWIM??

I HATE that part of the hook on chair. We hauled ours to Mexico and it didn't work anywhere in our condo. We ended up borrowing a high chair from the restaurant anyway.Chat Icon

We have the first one and it is the best creation EVER. We first brought it on our cruise and it was perfect, now we bring it to restaurants, my parents house and the sitters house during the week. It is always in my car.

We borrowed a more compact one when we went away last month, and it was great and served its purposed but I missed the booster b/c it is so much sturdier.

Definitely the first we have the rainforest version. I would be afraid to use the second one b.c a lot of restaurant tables aren't very sturdy.
