medela pump parts
forgot the shields for breast pump at home today. i work in a hospital, went to maternity, they gave me a closed package with the shields, connectors and tubing - it is the package that they sell for use with the symphony rental pump. it was a sealed pack, but i normally boil pump parts before using for the first time. didnt today, obviously. do i need to toss all the milk i pumped today? db is 6 months old, not a newborn

The ones in the sealed bags are sterile...no need to toss the milk.

ITA. I had to pump when I was in the hospital with DD and they gave me the sterile package and I just used it.
