Meds question??
So I got the shipment of all my meds...
Does anything need to be refrigerated? I got it all on Wednesday and I can't find any info on how to store it??
I have Gonal F, Repronex and Ganarelix.
Also, there was no HCG in my shipment...is that right??

I know gonal-f needs to be refridgerated. Not sure about the rest though... I would call your dr or look it up from the manufacturer's websites.
Also, it doesn't say on or in the packaging? There should be an insert in each package.

Sometimes the nurses (at least at my clinic) don't order the HCG until you are close to triggering
I just make them order all at once

You can usually tell from your packaging, how they shipped to you? Did some come in a freezer bag? My gonal-f pens and ovidrel come in separate packaging in my big box with all meds. It might depend whether your gonal-f is one you have to mix or not (then I don't think it needs to be in frig). Call your pharmacy if you are unsure. And quickly.

The gonal-f is one that I need to mix, so maybe that's why the package doesn't say to refigerate??? And nothing was packed in a refrigerator bag. I'm going through everything again to check.
Thanks Lisa - I was wondering if they just hold off on the HCG till later. I do think there is a mistake though - I got Doxycyclene instead of Dexamethasone??? WTH?  Guess I should call them??

the doxy is for your dh
the dex will come with your hcg and pio...a lot of nusres won't order it until you get close to er
if your gonal is in powder form (the one you mix) no need to put it in the fridge....

Don't know if this is still the case- as my shipment was last month but- My NP at the RE didnt order my HCG through mail order because the one they wanted for me there is a shortage of (Novarel) ...She ended up giving me one they had at the office... I would just mention it to the RE to make sure it wasnt an oversite and its not one of the ones that is backordred (if it still is )
