Meet Lexi !
We adopted Lexi this afternoon! She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in GA. She is about 9 weeks old (born on 12/26). I have no clue what she weighs, but she's a BIG puppy!! Lexi is a shepherd/boxer mix. I wasn't sure about the boxer in her, but I googled her breeds and I found a pic that looks a lot like her....so boxer/shepherd it is!
There were lots of reallllly cute, tiny pups there, and everyone was gawking over them. We were too, until we saw this sweetie looking so lonely. So we chose her. 
So far, she's peed on my carpet 9 times.  And had diarrhea three times, on the tile thank GOD! Her foster mommy said that she gave her some pepto this morning for her sick tummy. I hope she is okay. (you can see the pink pepto near her mouth in the pics) We're taking her to the vet Monday or Tuesday. And she's getting her first bath in the morning!
She is very curious and very mouthy, which is scary for me, with two little ones. But she's a good listener and seems to be picking up on things already.  Here are a few pictures, I will take some better ones tomorrow I'm sure.

So cute, congrats! 
With the mouthiness, I would definitely start a training regimen right away, esp since you have little ones. I also agree that I would take her to the vet on Mon or Tues -- she may have something going on.
Enjoy your cutie and puppy parenthood!

Congrats on rescuing her!!!
make sure to keep plenty of toys around for her to chew on..and whenever she is mouthy, just put a toy in her mouth.

Lexi is a GREAT dog already.
She is being more gentle with the kids already, and is a lot calmer today. Yesterday was just crazy for all of us.
She did excellent during the night. She only woke up at 3am to go out, and she pooped and peed twice outside. She didn't make a mess in her crate at all! She woke up again at 7:30 and took a long walk, and played outside. So far...NO ACCIDENTS today! I am shocked, b/c yesterday was pretty bad. Today she just goes to the door and whines to be let out.  Um, that was easy! LOL! Let's hope she keeps it up.
She is awesome and we are in LOVE! I took some great pics today and I'll post them later on! Thanks for the good wishes.

Good advice. Def look into some training classes for her.
A great thing to get is a "doggie backpack". When she goes out for a walk, it goes on her back. Adds some more to her daily walks and gives her a great workout and she will be less likely to cause any havoc to the house(chewing cause she is bored, etc)because it will tire her out. Now as she gets stronger , you can add one or two water bottles to the pack (she will be bigger and may need more of a challenge).
You can purchase the pack at Petco.

Adorable! Try some white rice for the diarrhea - it works well for Katie. Get her lots of things to chew on- puppies LOVE to chew!
