Memory Card Question
I bought a memory card about 2 years ago that I keep erasing and using over again. Is that OK to do? So far I have had no problems.
I'm taking a big trip soon and I still have the memory card. Do you think the old memory card could crap out on me? Should I get a new one? TY!

Re: Memory Card Question
The memory card in my camera is several years old - I think 5 and I never had a problem with it. (touch wood). Getting a back up wouldn't hurt tho.

Re: Memory Card Question
If you do invest in a new one, purchase from a reputable source or be sure to test first. One of my photo magazines had a letter to the editor with a heartbreaking story about someone that went on the trip of a lifetime (South American excursion to photograph wildlife) and he'd purchased a chip of E-bay - turned out to be counterfeit crap and he lost lots of photos because they never recorded.
