Men!!! I swear, they are helpless!
Seriously, DH is making a salad right now and asking me if we have oil and vinegar and if we have something to put it in. He's asking if people put onions in their salads. He's asking me if he bought salad dressing. Seriously, huh??? Yes, a bowl/cup/measuring cup/ramikin, I don't know, did you?

Re: Men!!! I swear, they are helpless!
Same thing with my DH right now...he's making lunch now ( 60 min after he said he would since he was playing a video game ) and this is what I hear:
"Where is the soup?" "Is the small pot big enough?" "Where is the medium pot?" "Ow...I banged my hand on the counter!" "You like your grilled cheese well done?" "Do you want it cut vertically or diagonally?"
It wouldve been simpler to do it myself!

Re: Men!!! I swear, they are helpless!
Oh, might I add he was cleaning up a little before (I'm doing my online coursework today, so I am excused ) and you'd think with all his sighing and huffing that I'd never cleaned ever. It's hysterical...I know it's not directed at me, he has a cold, but you'd think he was ****** at me b/c he was cleaning YET AGAIN!
But I love him!

I agree but on the other hand what happens if they do it wrong? I think they ask so many questions b/c they are afraid of doing it wrong.

I NEVER criticize DH when he does something. That is the sure fire way to make sure he doesn't do it again. If he is willing to cook/clean/change baby's diaper etc, I am going to do everything I can to encourage him to continue. IMHO, the mere fact that he is willing and able means he is doing it right.

Well I guess you have a husband that knows how to clean. My DH had to be trained. He thought cleaning the shower meant spraying it with some windex and wiping it clean whilst the soap scum stayed there. He had never cleaned in his life before we got married. So I guess it depends on your DH.
ETA- I don't criticize I teach him how to do it right. It is all about the way you say it.
