Menstruation Question
Am I the only woman who doesn't get cramps after having my DD?
I was having a discusiion with two clients yesterday about giving birth and menstrual cramps. These ladies were shocked when I mentioned that I don't get cramps anymore. They thinks that I am lucky because they have severe cramps after giving birth.
I am thinking if I am the only woman who is like this.

I haven't had much after my first pp period. I've heard that childbirth can alleviate bad menstral cramps, so that's probably why!

I did notice that I had really bad cramps after DD but I also had put in an IUD and the one I use didnt lighten periods, it actually made than a little worse. So I thought that was what was giving me the bad cramps.
No longer have the IUD in so we shall see if that was the cause or not this month.

actually for me from ovulation until AF I am crampy beyond belief

no, although I still get them, my mother said after she had my brother and myself she never got cramps again, nor did she suffer any pms symptoms either. Lets see what happens after my new baby comes

i never had cramps and after DS (well i only got it like 3 times before DD was conceived) it was the same way.

I'm with you, I used to have horrible cramps every month, now pretty much nothing. 
But my period is much heavier each month now. 
I think the cramps might have been the better of the 2, at least you can take something to make that more comfortable.

Before DS I had horrible cramps and my SIL would say "Oh those go away when you have a DC".
Well I had DC 3 years ago and I still have the most horrible cramps and much heavier...
I wish I could say that they went away for me too but I can only hope they will after the next DC.

I always had day 1 and 2 totally full of cramps. heavy flow...then days 3, 4 and 5 light flow.
While BFing, forget about it. Horrible. 7 days of heavy flow, cramps, nausous..the works.
now that he is weaned, day 1, 2, 3 cramps, but light flow on day 4 and 5.
