Mesh feeder frozen fruit question
I'm steaming some apples and peaches and then I'm going to freeze them in slices to be able to put in the mesh feeder for a frozen treat for DD. I also bought bananas but I'm not sure how to freeze them. Every time I freeze ripe bananas to be able to use later for banana bread, they get really mushy and gross looking when they're left in their peels.
I'm thinking of peeling them, slicing them and then freezing them on a sheet tray then transferring them into a freezer bag. Does that sound like the right way to do it?

I cut them and throw them in a freezer bag in pieces. They get a little brown but not too mushy. DD2 loves them in her mesh feeder.
