Miami hotels
I need a hotel in Miami for a few days for a before and after cruise stay. I want something inexpensive and close (walking distance) to the beach.

Check out the Royal Palm in Miami... it's right on collins ave. I think the prices are okay, not cheap but not crazy expensive either.

I would check out www.biddingfortravel.com and see what hotels people have been getting in the South Beach and Miami Beach "zones" on Priceline. I used Priceline a few years ago for a pre cruise stay in Miami and got the Hyatt Regency in downtown Miami for under $40.
