ya know, I actually find myself getting a little Chat Icon at this thread....

why is it that every woman in the public eye gets scrutinized and torn apart with catty comments and insults?

this is the first lady, not naomi cambell... she's not in this position to be a model... she's a lawyer, professional, and mom.... The same goes for Laura Bush... she has also been a strong accomplished woman and rolemodel for our country.

why is it that we don't tear apart how the guys look? oh, that's right, becuase they're valued for their minds and
accomplishments Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

sorry, vent over.... this poorly dressed female professional will let everyone return to the activity of the day.... ripping on accomplished women over her wardobe choices while her family performs the most patriotic act a family could do.. turning their lives upsidedown for the next 4-8 years for the betterment of the country

ITA! No one rips apart the guys, just the wives. While reading these posts, I saw Michelle was too matronly, too yellow, Jill was dressing too young, Laura was dressed too blah. It seems you just can't win! All of them were bashed at some point or another. Also, as far as Laura goes, I am guessing she dressed in somber colors because she was not the star yesterday, and she understands that.

I think what Michelle does as first lady is a million times more important than what she puts on her back.

I am proud to say I made fun of Joe Biden's tie Chat Icon I make fun of all people equally.

I don't mind seeing the comments about the outfits everyone was wearing that is a fashion choice and not a personal attack. As for the personal attacks I love how First Lady + Green Shoes = she's a biotch. Where did that come from Chat Icon .

i think that the outfit was eh.

michelle obama is beautiful, as is laura bush.

i always wonder what people look like to make them judge peoples faces/looks so harshly.

I hear ya! Especially to also judge what they must be like (like a b!tch) from very limited pics and interviews Chat Icon She seems like a strong individual...unfortunately if you're strong female, some people call you a b!tch

Don't like an outfit, fine. Don't make fun of someone's looks.

It's ridiculously pathetic and immature. But I am not surprised by those types of answers on here Chat Icon

It makes me laugh that the same people who say really mean things on a celebrity board(sometimes so mean it makes me sick) are on this thread saying how horrible people are for saying that Michelle Obama is not pretty.
So I guess I should be banned from this forum ,I am a terrible , mean, cruel person.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Not pointing finger to any one person. Just generally speaking.

How about when they put up a pictures of Adam Sandlers daughter? Those comments are disgusting. I hope the people who make those comments never have kids. God forbid their child should come out not perfect.

I agree, I think it is one thing to comment on an adult celebrity (although still distasteful) but a child...that is really low and disgusting
