migraine sufferers please help
I have had a horrible migraine for 2 days and neck pain as well! I usually take frova for my migraines, but u can't take it while your pregnant. Any one suffer from migraines who have some ideas? I don't know what to do this is horrible!

call your dr...my ob perscribed me something to take while pregnant. Also try cold compresses on your forehead and back of neck...tthat sometimes helps me!

Try coffee, tylenol and ice first. If it doesn't go away, call the OB-they gave me percocet to take for a horrible migraine.

If you also have pain in your neck you can also try a chiropractor. I used to get a lot of migraine relief from my chiro.

My neurologist doesn't want me taking anything unless they get so bad i cannot function. She has me taking tylenol and drinking a large coffee when I start to feel one coming on. Also she recommended me putting a cold compress on my head and back of my neck.

SLEEP in a dark, quiet room (if possible )
2 extra strength tylenol, caffeine!
also, make sure you stay hydrated!

thanks for the responses girls..........i have worked the past 2 days, so I am off today, gonna make some coffee now, and rest for the remainder of the day. if it doesn't go away, I will call the doc! thanks again that it goes away!

I agree with all of this...migraines are the worst but when your pregnant and can't take most meds, it is just unbearable.
I usually do all of that advice above then have my DH rub my shoulders/upper back, it really seems to help me. Also water and "trying" to relax, deep breathes. For me it's usually related to stress or dehydration.
