MIlan's 1st day of daycare...
...was today. Up until lastweek my MIL and mom had been watching him from when he was 5.5 months old. I am a nervous wreck over here. Just worrying and worrying and worrying about his safety. I cant wait to pick him up later.

Re: MIlan's 1st day of daycare...
I hope that the day goes by fast for you and you can get to him quickly.
On the positive side...the anticipation of getting to him...and the moment you grab him in your arms...will be like none other.

Re: MIlan's 1st day of daycare...
Awww, I'm sorry you are worrying so much, I'm sure your little one is fine and will be super excited to see you when you pick up
You shouldn't ever have to worry about your child's safety at daycare. Did you end up going with the provider that has the pitbull? (or am I thinking of someone else?)

Hi yes that is me. Yes we wound up goign with this provider. the dog is kept away from the children during the day which was good. also i spoke to 3 of her references and they all said they have never had a problem with the dog, and their children have been there since they were 6 and 8 weeks old. Their children are now 4. The dog is super friendly which made me more comfortable. You wouldnt even think of him as a pitbull which is weird. Also this lady is a four star daycare center in our area which is the highest rating you can get.

That's good..but you are worried about his safety so that's just not a good sign that you are completely comfortable with this situation. I hope it all works out

I am not really worried about the dog just about him being away from me in general. And also b/c i work in NYC and he is at daycare in PA. I know it will get better though. I actually only called once today b/c i dont want to be a pain even though she told me i can call a billion times if i want.
