Milk Allergy in Formula Fed Babies
How did you know your baby had a milk allergy? My ds is 9 months old. he was EBF for the first 5.5 months. Then I've been supplimenting since then. Since January (around the time that he started on formula) he has been congested. Could it be from the formula? Should I try switching it? He is still getting some BM, but he does get about 15-18 ounces of formula a day.

You should call your doctor if you are concerned. My son was very fussy when eating. It would take many, many tries and about a hour to get him to take 4 oz. of formula. Then we started seeing blood in his stool. We tried Alimentum but that didn't stop the bleeding, so now he's on Neocate and he's been much better.

DS was very cranky while eating and pooping 12 x's a day! We started seeing blood in his stool and that's when we found out about the allergy
