minivan...prices?
Due in 2 weeks with DC #3 and need to get a new car as our lease is up. I don't really have the time to waste negotiating in a dealership, so I figured I go in with some ammunition! lol soooo....
If you don't mind sharing, what are you paying for a leased minivan? The Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna is what we are looking at right now. Also what did you put down?
TIA!!

A lot of people go to the Town and Country as a cheaper option to the Honda/Toyotta

Re: minivan...prices?
WE just got a T&C Touring with some upgrades (leather, nav, and better rims).
Put $3000 down, and $308 a month. 39 month lease. Went thru Teachers. We have to pay $400 at the end of the lease. But dealer gave us $500 up front to cover that.

Re: minivan...prices?
We too are looking to get a minivan and fell in love with the Odessey for a few reasons. But I'm turned off by the $$$. I haven't looked at pricing on the Sienna.
The model we want is the EXL (with DVD) and the price is $36,000 something and is around $600 a month. While we can afford that (just paid off my vehicle and DH returns his Honda lease next month) I am turned off by it.
Good luck!

Re: minivan...prices?
if you're leasing ...
might i suggest www.legendleasing.com
I haven't used them, but I've heard good things. They lease in the NY metro area are all 0 down, leases, plus a bank fee, then whatever per month.
They seem to have some good deals, if I were going to lease I'd probably start with them.
Minivans with options aren't cheap, apparently. I was considering getting one. what blows my mind is the options some people put in their cars.. a somewhat stripped Sienna can be 25K, if you go over to the Toyota Sienna messege boards, some people have loaded them up to $48K.
To me you almost have to spend $30K on a new one by the time you get hte V6 power everything, alloys etc. leather can be nice, but Nav and rear entertainment really can add to the price..
