Spinoff to my minivan post-what happened to Toyota?
someone responded well all know what happened to Toyota but I must live under a rock b/c I don't what's the deal please?

The recall for the pedal sticking and accelerating causing accidents everywhere!
Its a computer problem apparently.

Its a computer problem apparently.
did they admit to it be an electrical problem after thy did the recall and repaired a mechanical defect in the pedal?

I heard computer...not electrical. I could be wrong.
it's both. there are up to 50 computers in some models, and computers & electrical are not exclusive of each other.

right, but I thought they said it was not related to the computer/electronics but in fact was a mechanical problem with the pedal?

The Sienna was not involved in the recall. I was looking at a Sienna and checked the recall list before I even test drove it.
