Dr. Seuss First Birthday themed party
So I am thinking about doing a Dr. Seuss 1st birthday theme for my DS. I was thinking about maybe getting a Dr. Seuss stuffed Animal and then tying regular balloons to it as the center pieces. Party City does not have Dr. Seuss mylar balloons so I was thinking about just getting regular balloons that match the color scheme. I am slso going to have the guests sign the book by Dr. Seuss Happy Birthday to Me. I am going to do some kind of Dr. Seuss themed favors . The problem is there will most likely be a big age range of kids at the party. So I am not sure the favors can all be the same. I have a few questions:
Has anyone used Dr. Seuss for a theme? Where did you get your party supplies?
Besides the internet, do you know of any stores where I could purchase Dr. Seuss party supplies?
Do you know any place that sells mylar Dr. Seuss Balloons?
If I get mylar balloons from the internet where can you get them blown up?
Any other creative ideas of how I could decorate or would I could do for a Dr. Seuss themed party?

You could stand Dr. Seuss books up on it's edge & tie a balloon around it.
I'm a huge Dr. Seuss fan, collected animation cells, etc.
For an invite I would do something like..
Oh the Places You'll Go...
Please join us to celebrate
You could use the Dr. Seuss font or find one similar.
Rather than do party supplies, you could save money getting things in the same colors & decorating a few things. LIke a dark blue table cloth, with something red & white on it...Dr. Seuss hats?
For favors, you could do everything from books to juggling balls.
Is this in a home or a place?

Great idea for a theme. I don't have any suggestions besides the internet, but I think it is going to be great. It is perfectly fine to have different, age appropriate favors.
